Dear Attendees of MELPRO 2020,
The government of the Czech Republic declared the state of emergency in its entire territory for 30 days with effect from March 12, 2020. The current legal measures of the government include a ban on all public events attended by more than 30 people, no entry for foreigners from 15 countries (incl. Italy, Germany, France, Spain, UK, …) and stopping all proceedings of short-term visa applications.

Based on this fact, the organizing committee of the conference decided to reschedule the conference to a new date: November 8–11, 2020.
We believe that the new date will be acceptable for you and we look forward to meeting you in Prague in November 2020.
All sessions will be held at Hotel International, Koulova 1501/15, Praha 6, Czech Republic.
Hotel parking is available for 250 CZK per day. The hotel is surrounded by a residential parking zone. Graphic displayed on mapy.cz. Blue zones are intended solely for residents and are subject to penalty. Purple zones are paid parking and you can park for CZK 40 per hour (Mon-Fri midnight to 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. to midnight).
The official language of the conference is English.
Moderated discussion of industrial and academical experts, where current issues are identified and their solutions outlined.
The presentation time for each plenary lecture is 45 min and 5 min for discussion.
The presentation time for each keynote lecture is 25 min and 5 min for discussion.
The presentation time for each short lecture is 15 min and 5 min for discussion.

Deadline for Abstract submission August 31, 2020
If you are interested in active participation in the conference, please send an abstract of your lecture or poster via the ON-LINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM.
Please log in to the ON-LINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM and choose “Create new registration” to register for the conference. Your registration can be viewed or modified any time after logging in. The system will allow you to submit abstracts. Choose “Submit abstract” and then select the session.
You will receive a confirmation by e-mail after submitting your registration and abstract.
It is possible to send data in an MS Word Document (* .doc, * .docx), or Rich Text File (.RTF), or Open Office documents/LibreOffice (odt, dot). Maximum file size is 5 MB. The name of the file must include the author’s last name without diacritics and without gaps. The abstract can contain images.
Languages (without interpretation): English.
Supported media: USB Flash disk or external HDD compatible with Win7 (without installing drivers)
Registration is opened.
On-site registration takes place on Sunday, November 8, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and continues the next day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will be possible to register during the conference as well. As a part of the Sunday registration, light welcome refreshments will be served.
The registration fee includes: all meals, proceedings, access to the scientific sessions and conference materials.
Accompanying person fee includes: welcome refreshment during registration and social event with Gala Dinner.
We ask the lecturers to hand over their presentations on USB flash drives in a format compatible with MS PowerPoint at the registration, or to give them to the technician in the morning before the individual program sections will be initiated. In case your PowerPoint includes a video, it is necessary to have the video file prepared in the same folder together with the presentation. If you would like to use any unusual presentation formats, please, contact us at the registration desk.
Audio/video recording of the lectures or copying of the lecture files is not allowed without the prior agreement of the speaker. The organizers reserve the right to take photographs during the meeting.
Poster session wil be specified later.
Poster boards size: 1 x 2 m (width x height).
Posters should be no larger than 95 cm x 185 cm.
Material for mounting your poster will be provided by the conference.
Posters will be assigned a number that will be attached to the board.
